Designed by Jean Nouvel – whose works famously include the Torre Agbar in Barcelona and the National Museum of Qatar in Doha among others – and named after Cypriot industrialist and philanthropist Stelios Ioannou, the Learning Resource Centre at the University of Cyprus is another breathtaking work of art by the French architect.
Open to university students and the public alike, the impressive four-storey, 15000 square metre building contains a library, an information systems centre and a language centre and includes over 620,000 printed volumes.
