Terms like “hidden gem” and “underrated” get thrown around a lot by travel writers these days.
But it’s hard to argue that Albania certainly falls into both those categories.
With jaw dropping mountains, pristine beaches, weekend long hikes, delicious food and such warm hospitality, Albania must surely be one of the most misunderstood places in Europe.
Best come see it soon though. At the rate it’s being built up, it inevitably won’t be too long before it is considered one of Europe’s most diverse and affordable travel destinations.
