Marvelling at Valparaiso’s street art and cruising around Chile’s lake region.

Chile

Located just over 100 kilometres northwest of Santiago, on Chile’s coast, the “Jewel of the Pacific”, as Valparaiso is often referred to, is one of the country’s most important ports.

With its bohemian vibe and maze of steep hills and colourful walkways, it has long been a place that has inspired poets and writers. Wherever ones turns their head, there is something to admire. Whether it be the street art on every corner, the spectacular buildings and galleries, or the panoramic viewpoints overlooking the city, it’s easy to see just why Valparaiso was named a UNESCO World Heritage City in 2003.
