Dedicated to Jose Vasconcelos, a philosopher, former presidential candidate and former president of the National Library of Mexico, this mega library in downtown Mexico City stocks well over half a million books and spreads over 38,000 square metres.
It has undoubtedly been one of the most spectacular libraries in the world since it opened in May 2006.
